Jinyeong Hwang is from Seoul, South Korea. She graduated Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) in Seoul where she majored in International Studies and minored in Journalism. For her 1L summer, Jinyeong worked as a legal intern at the Office of General Counsel of City University of New York. In addition to Journal, she’s a secretary of LGBT Law Forum. Outside of law school she enjoys traveling and cooking, both Korean food and others.
