Alex Bender is from Buffalo, New York. Alex graduated from University of Notre Dame in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. For his 1L summer, Alex worked as an intern for the Hon. Lawrence J. Vilardo in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. During his 2L summer, Alex was a summer associate at Emerson & Elder, P.C. in Chicago. In addition to the Journal, Alex is a member of the Notre Dame Transactional Law Team and an Assistant Rector in Dunne Hall.
