Lea Leisure
Lea Leisure is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Lea graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 2021 with a B.A. in English and a minor in the Psychology of Crime and Justice. While at Loyola University of Chicago, Lea founded the Psychology and Law Society. Prior to law school, she worked in the insurance defense and workers’ compensation practice groups at Evans & Dixon L.L.C. At NDLS, she is Secretary of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and seeks to practice in IP upon graduation. A lifelong sneakerhead and collector, she conducts research in the niche field of Sneaker Law and works remotely year-round for a boutique and specialized IP firm based out of NYC, protecting clients’ sneaker and streetwear brands day in and day out. She will relocate to NYC upon graduation to continue her pursuits in this unique and up-and-coming field of law. During her 1L summer, Lea was also a fellow for the Notre Dame Law Program on Church, State, & Society, working for the Archdiocese of Chicago alongside her IP-related work.
