Brendan McDonnell is from the Albany area in Upstate New York. Brendan attended Siena University, receiving a B.A. in History with a minor in Classics. While at Siena, Brendan was a student-athlete who played Men’s Rugby. He also worked as a tutor and assisted with campus ministry. One of his favorite highlights from college was the semester he spent abroad in the Czech Republic. During his 1L summer, Brendan worked as a summer law clerk at Castañeda + Heidelman. During his 2L summer, Brendan came back to Upstate New York, working at Hodgson Russ in Buffalo. After graduating, he plans to return to Hodgson, practicing in the Real Estate and Finance group. Brendan has recently picked up boxing, and competed in the Notre Dame Bengal Bouts last year. In his free time, Brendan loves reading about history, traveling to different countries, and spending time outdoors hiking and skiing.
